November 05 VOTE D DAY 大选日大选日，从早晨5点人们就开始排队了，主要路口也都是举着拉选票牌子的两党支持者。
这里投票的地方是一个小镇的社区中心，下午六点还排着队，守票的大娘说今年投票的人特别多。
电视现在还在现场直播选票结果，看大势OBAMA是要胜利了。
很爽吧，可以直接选总统！

November 03 万圣节, red neck 和其他Happy Halloween!第一次知道万圣节原来是这么有趣。头一天就开始在家做南瓜鬼脸，在黑黑的灯光下，非常spooky。
小朋友们早就准备好当天的道具了，halloween当晚打扮整齐，提着小蓝子去每家敲门要糖果，"trick or treat"（不给糖果treat就在你门口搞鬼闹翻天trick）。各家人早已准备好，有的人家还把车库或窗户装饰为hunted house，鬼屋，很搞笑。我们住的地方人家很少，于是开车到一处人口密集的小区去trick or treat，孩子们照样是大丰收。周末就光剩吃糖了，我的牙啊。。。
以前老听朋友说在俄州可以看到很多red neck，一直不明白是什么意思。这回终于见识到。red neck是指长期在阳光下工作的工人，尤指白人，因为脖子胳膊会晒得红红的，留着黄黄的长发。家里买了两棵大树，一位red neck大叔开着大卡车来种树。几个大刀片机器，几分钟就挖个大洞，几分钟就种好大树。最后red neck说，现在我可以去买个南瓜，抱着回家看足球了。我笑翻，red neck却是一脸严肃，不是开玩笑。。。
这一周其实都因为倒霉的牙痛，没吃好睡好。这两天终于消炎了。坚持，坚持，一定不去看牙医。。。 |
